Tyrone Mings has taken little time to become a very popular figure at Aston Villa.

After a difficult spell at Bournemouth, there seemed to be a decent number of underwhelmed supporters when Aston Villa announced in January that they had signed Tyrone Mings on loan for the rest of the season.
Mings signed for the Cherries for £8 million in 2015 (via BBC Sport), but has gone on to make just 22 appearances for the club in all competitions, with injury keeping him sidelined for much of his time at the Vitality Stadium.
The move to Villa seemed to make sense for all parties. Mings had a chance to prove himself at one of the biggest clubs in the Championship, while Dean Smith got a player through the door to strengthen arguably the weakest area of his squad.
And while some may have felt unsure about the decision to sign the centre-back in January, the response to his latest tweet shows that he has wasted little time in becoming an incredibly popular figure with the Villans faithful.

Mings posted a video on social media showing some of his highlights from his loan spell so far and accompanied the tweet with the message: ‘Just getting started’.
And in response, a number of fans insisted that they would love to have Mings turn his loan deal into a permanent move at the end of the season. It is clear that many feel that he has been an inspired signing and hope that this chapter of his career does not end when the campaign concludes.
