Aston Villa fans have responded to Chelsea-owned striker’s Tammy Abraham post on Twitter following the team’s win against Derby County.

Villa got the better of Derby 2-1 at Wembley Stadium in London in the Championship playoff final on Monday afternoon.

The result means that Dean Smith’s side have clinched promotion to the Premier League, while Frank Lampard’s team will stay in the Championship.

Abraham joined Villa on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer of 2018 and played a key role in the Villans’s promotion success.

The 21-year-old England international striker scored 26 goals and provided three assists in 40 Championship appearances for Villa this season, according to WhoScored.

The youngster was arguably the best striker in the Championship this season and was quite consistent.

Abraham has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Villans, and some Villa fans have responded to his post.

The striker himself is open to the idea of playing for Villa next season, and is quoted as saying by The Guardian when asked if he could return to Villa Park: “You can never say never.”

The Villa supporters want the young and promising striker to stay at Villa Park next season and lead the line for Smith’s team in the Premier League.
