Aston Villa reportedly wanted Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley when he was at Huddersfield Town.

Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley has joked about his exclusion from BBC Sport’s shortlist of Championship players this season on Twitter.
BBC Sport have asked fans to pick their Championship Team of the Year in response to the PFA announcing theirs.
Fans have a list of players, but Forest winger Lolley is not in it despite having been an important player for the Reds this season.
According to WhoScored, the English winger has made 40 starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Forest this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in the process.
Lolley has been on the books of Forest since January 2018 when he joined from Huddersfield Town for a transfer fee reported by Sky Bet to be worth £500,000.
The winger has taken to Twitter to joke about his exclusion from the BBC Sport shortlist, and some Aston Villa fans have responded to it by urging him to move to the Villans in the summer transfer window.
According to a report in The Daily Mail in August 2017, Villa were considering a loan move for Lolley, with a move to Villa Park claimed to have been appealing to the winger due to him supporting the Villans as a boy.
