Aston Villa winger Andre Green has impressed on a loan spell with Portsmouth this season.
Aston Villa fans want Andre Green back at Villa Park, after his impact in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Green was sent on a season long loan to Portsmouth by Villa at the start of the season, while Steve Bruce was still in charge.
The winger initially made a slow start at Fratton Park, but he has begun to prove his worth now.
And Villa fans are eager to see Green link up with Dean Smith’s side as soon as possible.
Villa have recalled Tommy Elphick and Jed Steer from loan spells already this month, but it is not clear whether they have the option to do the same with Green.
Villa already do have good options in attacking areas, but Green looks very promising.
If he sticks around at Pompey he could yet have a part to play in a promotion push, as well as an FA Cup run.
Green’s Portsmouth side currently lead the way in League One, and the first-team experience should be doing wonders for the Villa prospect’s development.
