Aston Villa snapped up Kortney Hause on Monday night.

Aston Villa tied up their second signing of the January transfer window on Monday evening, landing Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause.
Villa had already brought in Croatian international goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic from Gent in a big-money swoop, but a defender was certainly needed.
With issues at centre back and left back, Villa needed to sort out their issues at the back, and may have killed two birds with one stone.
Wolves talent Hause can play at both centre back and left back, and having found first-team football hard to come by at Molineux this season, he decided to move on.
The 23-year-old was expected to complete a permanent move to Villa Park, but a slight medical issue meant that the deal has been somewhat reworked.
The defender has now joined Villa on loan until the end of the season, with Villa having an option to make the move permanent in the summer if he impresses.

Some Villa fans had voiced concerns about signing Hause on loan, feeling that the club have not learnt from taking players on loan with no chance of a permanent move, much like Sam Johnstone and Robert Snodgrass last season, and potentially Yannick Bolasie and Tammy Abraham this term.
However, news that a permanent option has been included in Hause’s loan has gone down well with fans, who are delighted that the club are learning from past mistakes and setting up for Hause to join permanently at the end of the season should be flourish.
