Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Tyrone Mings against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Mings was in action for Villa in their Premier League against Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London.

The 26-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Dean Smith’s side lost 1-0.

The former Bournemouth man, who can also operate as a left-back, showed lack of concentration at the start of the match, but he did step up thereafter.

Mings could have actually done better for Palace’s goal, and he will be disappointed with his overall performance.

According to WhoScored, the defender had a pass accuracy of 84.9%, won one header, and made two interceptions.

Jordan Ayew scored the only goal of the match in the 73rd minute, as the Villans ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Trezeguet for two bookable offences in the 54th minute.

Henri Lansbury’s late goal for the visiting etam was also disallowed for a supposed dive from Jack Grealish.

Villa fans were not too happy with the display produced by Mings and have given their take on Twitter.
