Thierry Henry’s start at Monaco has been far from ideal.

Aston Villa claimed a second win under Dean Smith on Friday night, making it two wins in four games under their new boss.
The signs are bright under Steve Bruce’s successor, with the ex-Brentford man already a favourite at Villa Park – hardly damaged by the fact that he grew up supporting Villa.
Smith was landed after Thierry Henry appeared to turn the job down in favour of a move to former club Monaco, taking his first steps into management as Leonardo Jardim’s replacement.
Many backed the Frenchman to be a success, but at this very early stage of his managerial career, it isn’t exactly going to plan over at the Stade Louis II.
Monaco have played four games under Henry and are still yet to win, with his reign opening with a 2-1 defeat away at Strasbourg last month.
Draws against Club Brugge and Dijon followed, before a 1-0 defeat at Reims on Saturday, which sparked fan remonstrations against Henry and his players after the full time whistle.

Fans are far from happy, and Henry faces a tough task in terms of turning this season around, and Villa fans have been quick to note his struggles.
Supporters have taken to Twitter to suggest that Villa have dodged a bullet in not appointing Henry, believing that Villa are much better off with Smith in charge, as Villa couldn’t afford to be a ‘lab’ for Henry to make mistakes in.
