Former Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is reportedly in line to take over at Sheffield Wednesday.

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to warn Sheffield Wednesday following reports from The Sun on Sunday (09/12; page 57) that suggested that the Owls were considering an approach for Steve Bruce.
The Owls are going through a torrid spell under Jos Luhukay, and it would not be a surprise if many of the Wednesday supporters were keen to see a change in the dug-out as they slip closer and closer to the relegation battle in the Championship.
Bruce is currently out of work after leaving Villa in October. He may have guided the club to a play-off final, but there are plenty of Villans supporters who have warned Wednesday that they would be making a mistake approaching the former Sheffield United boss.

Villa have improved under Dean Smith, and several of the fans believe that that provides further proof that Bruce had the squad to get the club promoted out of the Championship during his tenure.
Some Wednesday fans may be desperate for a change following Luhukay’s underwhelming tenure – and there are plenty who appear to be keen on seeing Bruce come in – but the Villa supporters are unconvinced that Bruce is the right man to get the Owls back on track.
