Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is said to be considering loaning Scott Hogan to Stoke City.

Aston Villa fans don’t appear to be too worried about the rumours that Scott Hogan could leave.
Villa striker Hogan is set to move to Stoke City on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
Hogan’s chances of breaking into Dean Smith’s first-team look very slim, as he has made little impact at Villa Park ever since arriving.
And Villa fans simply wish that his move away was a permanent one rather than a temporary measure.
Villa have already brought in Wesley, who looks set to be their main man up-front, and they may well sign another striker before deadline day.
It means that Hogan’s move away from Villa Park could be the best option for all parties.
If Hogan does make the switch to Stoke he will be looking to prove he can score goals at Championship level again, as his form has dipped ever since he left Brentford.
