Aston Villa have reportedly launched a bid for Said Benrahma.

Aston Villa have today announced the arrival of winger Anwar El Ghazi on a permanent basis, becoming their second wide addition of the summer already.
Villa brought in Jota from rivals Birmingham City last week, adding to Dean Smith’s options having allowed Albert Adomah to leave the club on a free transfer.
Villa could still do with at least one more wide man in order to add competition for places, and it seems that Smith is looking for another reunion having signed his ex-Brentford star Jota.
Le10 Sport in France claim that Villa have offered €10million (£8.9million) for Brentford star Benrahma, who worked with Smith at Brentford in the first few months of last season.
The 23-year-old joined the Bees from Nice last summer, and enjoyed a superb first campaign in England, racking up 10 goals and 14 assists for the Championship side.
Benrahma has become one of the Championship’s top talents, and the Algerian is attracting major interest as a result, with Villa now allegedly joining the race.

It would be a huge surprise if that first bid for Benrahma succeeds, as TEAMtalk recently stated that Brentford actually want a huge £30million for their star winger.
Still, Villa fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumour, with a couple of fans hoping that ex-Brentford striker Scott Hogan is offered back to the Bees as part of a deal for Benrahma and teammate Neal Maupay.
Others think that he’d be a better signing than Joe Lolley despite his Villa allegiance, with many simply so excited to be targeting a player with so much skill and pace, with one fan even comparing him to two-time Premier League title-winner Riyad Mahrez,
