Aston Villa beat Kidderminster Harriers 3-0 in a friendly on Wednesday.
Aston Villa fans found themselves divided over Ross McCormack’s latest outing for the Villans.
The 30-year-old was in action in a pre-season friendly against Kidderminster Harriers on Wednesday night.
Aston Villa won 3-0 but the Scotland international was not on the scoresheet – despite a couple of good chances – as goals from Conor Hourihane, James Chester and Harry McKirdy did the damage.

Some Villa fans on Twitter suggested that McCormack and strike partner were looking sharp against the Harriers, who compete in the sixth tier of English football.
Then again, many more claimed that the former Fulham man – a £12 million signing by Roberto Di Matteo last summer – looked like he had enjoyed his summer break a bit too much by commenting on his weight.
The 2017-18 campaign is massive for McCormack and Aston Villa.
The ex-Leeds United hero has a lot to prove in the claret and blue after scoring just three times in 20 appearances for Villa last season, before being loaned to Nottingham Forest in January.
He has a big price-tag to pay off and it remains to be seen whether he can replicate his Fulham form next term.
