Robert Snodgrass featured for Aston Villa in the Championship on Monday.
Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of West Ham United-owned Robert Snodgrass against Bristol City.
Snodgrass, who joined Villa on a season-long loan deal from West Ham in the summer transfer window, played against City at Villa Park in the Championship on Monday evening.
The 30-year-old winger started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Villans won 5-0.
The former Leeds United and Norwich City star had a wonderful match, as he scored twice – first in the 34th minute and then on the hour mark.
The win against City means that the Villans are now fifth in the Championship table with 44 points from 26 matches.
Steve Bruce’s side are just five points behind Derby County, who are currently second in the standings and occupy the final automatic promotion place.
