Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly wants to sign Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn during the summer.

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports emerging from the Daily Record over the weekend which have suggested that Leicester City want to sign John McGinn this summer.
The Foxes are under new management with Brendan Rodgers leaving his post at Celtic to take over from Claude Puel at the King Power Stadium. And he is seemingly wasting little time identifying potential transfer targets.
The Daily Record reports that Rodgers is keen on signing both Dedryck Boyata from his former club, as well as McGinn from the Villans less than one year after his £3 million switch to the Championship club.
The Record reports that Rodgers wanted McGinn before his move to Villa, but will now need to pay more than six times what he went for last summer, with Dean Smith’s men set to demand at least £20 million for the combative midfielder.

However, if it was up to some of the Villa fans, Leicester would have to pay significantly more to land the 24-year-old, who has been a revelation during his first season in England’s second tier.
McGinn has provided seven assists in the Championship, as well as two goals, including an incredible strike against Sheffield Wednesday. Some fans therefore, are insisting that his asking price should be at least doubled, while a couple of fans have suggested that cash plus Marc Albrighton could make any serious offer more tempting.

Here is how some of the Villa fans have reacted to the reports…
