The Manchester United defender has spent the best part of 18 months on loan at Aston Villa.

Aston Villa fans are reacting to reports Axel Tuanzebe could return to Villa Park on loan from Manchester United next season.
According to The Sun., Manchester United are delighted with Tuanzebe’s progress and are considering allowing Aston Villa to keep him irrespective of whether or not Dean Smith’s side are promoted to the Premier League.
The centre-back has spent the best part of 18 months on loan at Villa Park but hasn’t played since December due to a metatarsal injury.
So has he done enough to impress those of an Aston Villa persuasion?
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Tuanzebe is due to enter the final year of his Manchester United contract this summer and could have his deal there extended if another loan deal is sanctioned.
The 21-year-old currently has competition from Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo back at Old Trafford.

In contrast, Aston Villa are set to have just one centre-back – James Chester – under contract from the start of next season.
Should Tuanzebe stay at Aston Villa?
