Villa are thought to be weighing up a move for the Spurs man.

Aston Villa appear to have done pretty good business this far this summer, with the signing of Mile Jedinak on Wednesday adding some much-needed experience and leadership in midfield.
However, one are which surely still needs addressing is right-back, where neither Alan Hutton nor Leandro Bacuna have impressed in recent times.
According to a report from the Telegraph which emerged on Thursday night, Villa are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur full-back DeAndre Yedlin as they look to bring in a new starting right-back.
The paper claims that the USA man has caught the eye of Roberto di Matteo, and the club are now considering a £3 million offer for the Spurs man.

Yedlin has made just a single first-team appearance for Spurs, with that game coming as a substitute back in the 2014-15 season, but impressed on loan at Sunderland last term.
The 23-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Black Cats and ultimately established himself as the club’s first-choice right-back.
Now he is clear to leave White Hart Lane. but Villa are looking to steal a march on any rival clubs by making the first move.
The report of Villa’s interest was met with a widely positive reaction from supporters on Twitter.
