Aston Villa fans react to Orjan Nyland display against Sheffield United

Aston Villa lost to Sheffield United in the Championship on Saturday.

Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Orjan Nyland against Sheffield United.

Nyland featured for Villa in their Championship game against United away from home at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Steve Bruce’s side lost 4-1.

Villa fans were not impressed with the performance of the Norway international goalkeeper and have criticised him on Twitter.

Nyland joined Villa from FC Ingolstadt in the summer transfer window and has played in all five of the Villans’ Championship matches so far this season.

Bruce’s team are 12th in the league table at the moment with nine points from six matches, two points behind sixth-placed Swansea City.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon, visitors Villa had 61% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.
