Jed Steer has signed a new contract with Aston Villa.
Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Jed Steer signing a new contract with the Villans.
As announced on Villa’s official website, Steer has put pen to paper on a new contract that will see him stay at Villa Park until 2023.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper has been on the books of the Villans since 2013 when he joined the club on a free transfer after leaving Norwich City.
The Englishman did well for Villa during the second half of the past season after returning earlier than expected from his loan spell at Charlton Athletic.
According to WhoScored, Steer made 18 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Villans.
Villa finished in the top six of the Championship table this season and won the playoff final against Derby County to clinch promotion to the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign.
