Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
According to The Daily Mail, Villa are interested in signing Dubravka from fellow Premier League club Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Slovakia international goalkeeper is unsettled at the Magpies following the departure of Rafael Benitez.
Newcastle rate the 30-year-old at £12 million, and Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are interested in securing his services, according to the report.
Dubravka is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and has been key in the Magpies staving off relegation to the Championship for the past two seasons.
Dean Smith’s Villa will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
