Aston Villa are said to be keen to sign Ezri Konsa, who Dean Smith knows well.

Aston Villa fans are delighted that Ezri Konsa is now seemingly on their wishlist, and have suggested it is ‘about time’ they went after the Brentford centre-back.
The Daily Mail claim that Villa are keen on Konsa, who Smith knows very well.
The claret and blues boss signed the centre-back when he was in charge at Brentford.
And Villa fans are keen to see the young defender brought to the Midlands now.
Villa are on the hunt for a second centre-back this summer, after the arrival of Tyrone Mings was confirmed earlier this week.
If Konsa did sign he would almost certainly go straight into Villa’s starting line-up alongside Mings.
Konsa is regarded as one of the very best defenders in the Championship, and has impressed during his time with Brentford.
The Bees have already signed Pontus Jansson and Ethan Pinnock this summer, which could mean that they would be open to selling Konsa, if Villa make a sizeable enough bid.
