According to The Daily Mail, Championship club Villa are interested in signing Grabban from Premier League club Bournemouth.
It has been reported that the Cherries will recall the 29-year-old from his loan at Sunderland and will look to sell him in the January transfer window.
Villa manager Steve Bruce, though, has ruled out a move for Grabban, telling Express & Star that he does not have the money to sign the former Norwich City man, who can also operate as a winger.
Grabban has been in brilliant form for Sunderland so far this season, and has been banging in the goals for fun for the Black Cats, who are in danger of getting relegated from the Championship at the end of the season.
Villa fans have been discussing the prospect of signing Grabban from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
