McEachran is out of contract at Championship club Brentford this summer and is set to become a free agent.
According to The Sun, Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – are interested in signing McEachran in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old former Chelsea midfielder worked with current Villa manager Dean Smith at Brentford.

McEachran, though, is not the only midfielder Villa are reportedly interested in, with The Daily Mail claiming that the Villans are looking at Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips as well.
