Kodjia is one of the best players in the current Villa squad, and his return to training is certainly great news and a huge development.
Although the 28-year-old forward may not be fit enough to play for the Villans this season, him training regularly is only going to be beneficial for Bruce’s side next season.
The Ivory Coast international has had injury concerns for quite a while now and has been out since November 2017.
Kodjia, who joined 19 goals in the Championship last season, joined Villa from Bristol City in the summer of 2016 for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11 million.
