Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jonathan Kodjia against Reading at home.

Kodjia featured for Villa in their Championship game against Reading at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-year-old forward started the match and played until the first minute of injury time, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Kodjia has been on the books of Villa since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Bristol City for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11 million.

The Ivory Coast international has scored three goals in five appearances in the Championship for the Villans so far this season, according to WhoScored.

The forward is an important player for Steve Bruce’s side, and the 28-year-old’s goals will be crucial in Villa’s quest to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
