The 30-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Villans won 2-1.
The Wales international worked hard at the heart of defence and made some important contributions at the back.
According to WhoScored, Chester had a pass accuracy of 86.7%, won three headers, and made one tackle and three clearances.
Villa fans, though, were not impressed with the performance of Chester and have criticised him on Twitter.

The win against Ipswich means that Villa are now 10th in the Championship table with 42 points from 29 matches, just four points behind Derby County, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
