Chester featured for Villa in their Championship match against City away from home at the Ashton Gate Stadium on Friday evening.
The 29-year-old Wales international central defender started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it finished in a 1-1 draw.
Josh Brownhill scored the home team, while Birkir Bjarnason found the target for Steve Bruce’s side.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Ashton Gate Stadium on Friday evening, visitors Villa had 55% of the possession, took 12 shots of which five were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
