Aston Villa have been linked with Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland.

Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Jack Butland’s mistake for Stoke City against Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.
Butland was in action for Stoke in their Championship game against QPR at home on Saturday.
It was the Potters’ opening game of the 2019-20 campaign, and they were expected to pick up all three points at the bet365 Stadium.
However, Stoke suffered a 2-1 loss, and one of the reasons was the performance of goalkeeper Butland.
It was the 26-year-old’s rashness that saw QPR take the lead. The England international goalkeeper rushed outside his area unnecessarily and was beaten to the ball Bright Osayi-Samuel, whose cross turned in by Jordan Hugill.
Butland have been linked with a move to Villa in the summer transfer window, with The Daily Mail crediting Dean Smith’s side with interest in the 26-year-old.
Stoke reportedly value the goalkeeper at £23 million, but Villa have signed Tom Heaton from Burnley.
