Jack Butland reportedly wants to join Aston Villa this summer.

Some Aston Villa fans are urging the club to push ahead with a move for Stoke City’s Jack Butland after Thursday’s revelation.
The Birmingham Mail claimed that the 26-year-old goalkeeper wanted to join Aston Villa this summer.
The report claims that Butland – who also has fans in Bournemouth and Crystal Palace – could be available for a little over £20 million, despite The Northern Echo previously reporting that £30 million was needed to prise him away from Stoke.
Villa appear to be in the market for a new shot-stopper, and fans of the West Midlands club are desperate to see him wind up at Bodymoor Heath, after reports that he wants to join.
Here is their reaction:
If true, Villa boss Dean Smith really does have to press ahead with bringing him in. This is a brilliant goalkeeper and, at 26, will still get a hell of a lot better.
You could argue that it’s harsh on Jed Steer, who helped the Villans win Premier League promotion via the playoffs, but there is no room for sentiment any longer.
