Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the return of Henri Lansbury to training.
As announced on Villa’s official Twitter page, Lansbury is back in training for the Championship club.
The 28-year-old midfielder has had hamstring problems this season and has been a peripheral figure at Villa Park.
The former England Under-21 international has played just eight minutes in the Champions League, and has played once each in the EFL Cup and the FA Cup this season, according to WhoScored.
According to The Birmingham Mail, the former Nottingham Forest midfielder is likely to be contention for a return to first-team competitive action after the international break.
Lansbury has been on the books of Villa since January 2017 when he joined from Forest for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £3 million.
Villa are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 51 points from 36 matches, just four points behind sixth-placed Derby County.
