Aston Villa are being linked with Nottingham Forest’s Joe Lolley.

Aston Villa landed two signings in the final hours of January’s deadline day, but are already being linked with a major summer signing.
Villa brought in Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings and Swansea City midfielder Tom Carroll on loan until the end of the season, bolstering Dean Smith’s squad.
Villa are still shy of the play-off places after Saturday’s draw with Reading, and they may be facing an exit for Jack Grealish if they miss out on a return to the Premier League.
The Sun now note that, if Grealish does move on, then Villa already have a signing in mind, as they would like to bring in Nottingham Forest ace Joe Lolley.
A boyhood Villa fan, Lolley has been in fine form for Forest this season, and even notched a goal and four assists in one game against Villa at Villa Park earlier this term.
The 26-year-old was allegedly a target for Villa in January, but it’s more likely that Smith will launch a £12million bid for Lolley at the end of the season if Grealish moves on.

Unsurprisingly, the rumours have sparked a reaction from Villa fans, who have been taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on Lolley potentially joining his boyhood club.
Lolley has been praised as a ‘quality’ player by some fans, who would love to finally see him in claret and blue, but others aren’t quite so sure that spending so much on Lolley would be a good idea, questioning whether he could really take over Grealish’s responsibility in the Villa side.
