Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Glenn Whelan against Leeds United.
Whelan featured for Villa in the Championship game against Leeds away from home at Elland Road on Friday evening.
The 33-year-old Republic of Ireland international midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Whelan against Leeds.
The Villa supporters were impressed with the former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder, who joined the Villans from Stoke City in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £2 million.


Villa played well against Leeds, especially in the second half, and could have actually won the match.
Whelan has established himself as an important player in Steve Bruce’s side, and the Republic of Ireland international’s performances will be important for the Villans as the season progresses.
