Villa have submitted a loan offer to sign Le Havre defender Moukoudi.

Aston Villa have reportedly tabled a loan-to-buy offer for Le Havre defender Harold Moukoudi worth £8million before August 31’s deadline on Friday – and some fans are delighted the club are trying to sign a centre-back.
Moukoudi, 20, is highly-rated in France after clocking up 48 senior league and cup appearances despite his young age, as he continues to help the club gain promotion to the top tier of French football.
The France Under-20 international has been linked with a move to Britain throughout the entire transfer window, with Celtic also said to be interested in signing the defender according to the Scottish Sun.
Now, French outlet Foot Mercato have claimed that Villa have tabled a deal that would see Moukoudi sign on loan until the end of the season with an option to sign the young defender on a permanent basis next summer.
It is believed that Villa are to table a loan fee of £1million, before a £7million clause will be inserted in a deal for Moukoudi to move to Villa Park. West Ham, Nice, Lyon and Marseille have also been linked with a move for Moukoudi.
Some Aston Villa fans are desperate to see Villa sign the player, with the club lacking in depth at centre-back after losing John Terry and Chris Samba left. It leaves the club with just Tommy Elphick, James Chester and Micah Richards.
