Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Manchester United-owned defender Axel Tuanzebe against Ipswich Town.

Tuanzebe featured for Villa in their Championship game against Ipswich away from home at Portman Road on Saturday.

The 20-year-old defender started the match and played for 64 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

The England Under-21 international is a central defender, but Villa manager Steve Bruce deployed the youngster at right-back against Ipswich.

Tuanzebe – spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa from Premier League rivals United and returned to the Villans in the summer transfer window – linked up well with Ahmed Elmohamady in the first half and looked confident.

The youngster, though, was not at his best, and it is clear that playing as a right-back does not come naturally to come.

Villa fans on Twitter are not happy with manager Bruce for playing a central defender at right-back, as shown in the posts below.
