Aston Villa appear to be closing in on sealing a permanent deal for Anwar El Ghazi after a successful loan spell.

El Ghazi had an excellent season at Villa in the Championship, and was arguably the star at Wembley, in the play off final.
The winger scored Villa’s first goal against Derby County, as Smith’s men earned promotion.
It always seemed likely that Villa would push to sign El Ghazi this summer, and it appears like they have got their man now.
Villa fans are delighted at the transfer move, and feel that he could be a potential bargain buy.
El Ghazi actually struggled under Steve Bruce at Villa Park, but the appointment of Smith really helped him.
The Dutch international went on to score six times and claim six assists over the course of the season.
Villa have already been busy this summer with Jota joining and Kortney Hause also set to make his loan move permanent in the coming days.
