Tottenham Hotspur loanee Josh Onomah has already made nine first-team appearances for Aston Villa.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Onomah continues to impress Aston Villa fans during his loan spell.

Onomah was selected to start for Villa in their Carabao Cup match against Middlesbrough last night, and despite Steve Bruce’s side’s defeat he still caught the eye.

Boro ran out 2-0 winners over Villa, but Onomah was one member of the claret and blues team who received a fair amount of praise.

Onomah is yet to fully establish his place in Villa’s line-up since joining from Tottenham, but he has still played a fair amount of football.

Onomah has already made nine appearances for Villa, with the youngster gaining some much needed first-team experience.

Mauricio Pochettino was initially thought to be loathed to send Onomah out on loan, but his time at Villa is proving a good learning experience.

Bruce’s side are under pressure, after making a slow start in the Championship this term.

Villa’s next match comes against Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening.
