Aston Villa supporters on Twitter have praised Scott Hogan and Callum O’Hare for their performances out on loan on Saturday afternoon.

Striker Hogan, who is currently at Sheffield United, opened the scoring for Chris Wilder’s side as they all but sealed their promotion to the Premier League.

Hogan wasn’t the only Villa loanee finding the back of the net on Saturday because playmaker O’Hare also scored for playoff chasers Carlisle United in League Two.

The Villa academy product, who went off injured early in the first half, scored for his team after 20 minutes as they went on to win the game 4-2 and keep up their hopes of finishing in the top-six alive.

On the other hand, Hogan’s Sheffield United were 2-0 winners against Ipswich Town, which means they are now six points ahead of third-placed Leeds United with a much better goal difference.

Hogan’s parent club, Villa are heading for the playoffs and the experienced striker could seemingly find himself earning promotion with two teams.

As for O’Hare, he will also be hoping to fire Carlisle United into League One before returning to Villa and potentially breaking into the first team.
