Aston Villa’s Rushian Hepburn-Murphy made a dramatic start to his Tranmere Rovers career.

Aston Villa supporters were in awe of Rushian Hepburn-Murphy after he was sent off on his Tranmere Rovers debut on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old is on a season-long loan at the League One club and during a feisty end to the match, which Hepburn-Murphy’s team lost 3-2 to Rochdale, he was shown red in stoppage time for seemingly throwing his opponent to the ground.
At the time, Tranmere had just scored to make the score 3-2 as they were keen to get hold of the ball and restart play. That resulted in a little scuffle, with Hepburn-Murphy defending his teammate during the heated exchange.
The Villa supporters were proud that their player defended his teammate as they were slightly critical of the Rochdale player for going to ground so easily.
It was a dramatic start to life at his new club for Hepburn-Murphy, but he will have plenty of time to prove himself this season.

The next 12 months will be crucial for the Villa academy product because he will be very eager to take his game to the next level.
With Villa now being a Premier League club, he will have to produce some serious performances in these next few years if he is to be a regular under Dean Smith.
Nonetheless, the Villa fans were pleased to see their striker show some fight and aggression whilst on-loan in the third tier of English football.
