Aston Villa fans do not appear keen on the rumours that they could sign Craig Dawson from West Bromwich Albion.
Villa are said to be in interested in taking the centre-back from the Baggies, as they could swap divisions at the end of the season.
West Brom look destined to be relegated from the Premier League, as they current sit at rock bottom of the table.
Villa, meanwhile, are challenging for promotion – and look set to secure a play off place in the near future.
If Villa go on to win promotion, The Sunday People (print edition, page 48, March 18, 2018), claim that they will move for Dawson.
But Villa fans are less keen on the idea that Dawson will be part of Steve Bruce’s squad for next term.
West Brom may well have to have a clear out in the summer, if they are relegated.
However, it remains to be seen whether they would be willing to their Midlands rivals, if Villa do make a bid.
