West Ham United midfielder Robert Snodgrass will be making a return to Aston Villa on Monday evening.

Aston Villa supporters on Twitter are expecting an emotional return for Robert Snodgrass when his West Ham side take on his former club on Monday night.
Two seasons ago, West Ham loaned Snodgrass to then-Championship side Villa, who reached the play-off final but ended up losing to Fulham at Wembley.
Despite that heartache, Snodgrass stated before Monday’s clash that he is looking forward to returning to Villa Park because he ‘really did love’ his time at the club, as posted on AVFC’s official Twitter account.
Villa fans admitted that they can’t wait for Snodgrass’ return as they expressed their respect for the midfielder and what he did during his time in the Midlands.
Whilst Villa lost that final, he was integral in them reaching Wembley, but there’s no doubt that he would have been pleased that the club went one better the following campaign.

Since Snodgrass left Villa a lot has changed and a lot has happened at the club – from a new manager to a new set of owners and players.
But the likes of Jack Grealish, Ahmed Elmohamady and Conor Hourihane, who played on a regular basis with the Scotsman, could potentially like up against him on Monday.
Villa go into the game with one win from their first four matches, whilst Manuel Pellegrini’s men can move into the third-place if they can secure all three points.
Here is a selection of Villa fans reacting to Snodgrass’s comments ahead of his return to the club:
