Everton have been linked with the in-form Aston Villa man.
Everton are plotting a January move for Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi, according to The Liverpool Echo.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for Aston Villa since Steve Bruce took over from Roberto Di Matteo at the beginning of October.
The Frenchman joined the Villans – then under Tim Sherwood – in the summer of 2015 but his first season in the West Midlands was blighted by a cruciate ligament injury.

But fans of Villa certainly seem to be seeing the best of him now, and the supporters have not reacted well to speculation that he could leave for Eveton next month.

Bruce’s side are only six points behind the top six but losing a player of Amavi’s calibre could well be detrimental for the Villans’ hopes of bridging that gip over the coming months.
He did, in fairness, look a real liability at times last season, when Aston Villa were in the Premier League, but the young defender seems to have found his feet under the 55-year-old and long may his form continue.
