Aaron Tshibola has struggled to make a name for himself at Aston Villa.

Tom Rogic of Celtic vies with Aaron Tshibola of Kilmarnock during the Scottish Premier Leagur match between Celtic and Kilmarnock at Celtic Park on April 27, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Aston Villa supporters on Twitter are glad to read reports that the club are willing to let Aaron Tshibola leave the club on a free transfer.

The Daily Mail have claimed that midfielder Tshibola can leave the newly-promoted Premier League side, with Doncaster Rovers keen on his signature.

It simply hasn’t worked out for Tshibola at Villa Park, with the 24-year-old first arriving at the club during the summer of 2016 when the club was relegated to the Championship.

Roberto Di Matteo was in charge of the club at the time, and whilst he gave him a chance to shine in the first team, as soon as he was sacked 11 games in, Tshibola’s game time reduced.

In recent seasons, he been on-loan at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock, where he has been working under the stewardship of Steve Clarke – he brought him to Villa from Reading when he was Di Matteo’s assistant.

Nonetheless, the Villa Park faithful have admitted that they are pleased to see the back of Tshibola because his signing simply hasn’t worked out.

Added with that, some have stated that they even forget he was still on Villa’s books, as Dean Smith continues his Premier League preparations.

Villa have signed 11 players, and with more seemingly set to walk through the doors, it isn’t a surprise that Tshibola is heading for the exit door.
