Aston Villa are reportedly attempting to sign Oliver McBurnie on loan from Swansea City in January.

Aston Villa fans do not appear best pleased with the suggestion that Oliver McBurnie is set to sign on loan from Swansea City in the January transfer window.
Villa are in dire need of a striker, with so many of their current options ruled out with injury.
Scott Hogan, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Jonathan Kodjia are all currently sidelined, leaving Keinan Davis as the only recognised senior striker available to Steve Bruce.

The Villa boss has already confirmed that he will be looking to sign a new number nine in January, and according to the Daily Record that man is McBurnie.
McBurnie has impressed for Swansea’s development side, scoring nine goals in six games.
The 21-year-old has also featured in seven of the Swans’ Premier League matches, but he has failed to score.
And Villa fans are concerned that Bruce is not going after a more recognised name, to help them secure promotion.
