Taylor was withdrawn with Aston Villa 2-0 down, due to a groin injury.

Aston Villa’s automatic promotion chances took a serious hit on Tuesday, as the Villans were beaten 3-1 at home by Queens Park Rangers.
First half goals from Ryan Manning and Jake Bidwell left Villa with an uphill task, which became near impossible once Luke Freeman added a third eight minutes from time.

James Chester maintained his recent scoring run to reduce the deficit by one, but Cardiff’s own 3-1 win at Brentford created a seven-point gap between themselves and Steve Bruce’s side, who occupy third position.
With only nine games left to play, a play-off campaign beckons for Aston Villa – although it could yet work in their favour, with Bruce winning two promotions out of three in that manner.
Nevertheless there are some Villa fans concerned that Tuesday’s result exposed several of their players as not being up to the task.

Here’s what they’re saying about one of those, left-back Neil Taylor, on Twitter…
