Aston Villa have now drawn three on the spin, but their previous two could, and probably should, have been wins, with Villa leading until the final minutes of both games against Nottingham Forest and Brentford.
Their poor form is puzzling when you consider how much quality the Italian manager signed in the summer. One of those high-profile recruits, Mile Jedinak, is a proven Premier League talent, but Aston Villa fans appear to be having doubts about him.
The centre-midfielder did not look to have his best game on Saturday, and much of the fanbase highlighted his performance on Twitter afterwards.
