Aston Villa are reportedly keen on signing Leicester forward Leonardo Ulloa.

Steve Bruce’s side remain in the running for promotion back to the Premier League, and that is why Bruce is keen to bolster his attacking department in January.

However, finances are tight due to Financial Fair Play regulations, and as a result Bruce is looking to scout the loan market and bring in the right profile of players.
Ulloa, who signed a new contract in the summer, has had limited first team opportunities under first Craig Shakespeare and then Claude Puel.

The report claims that Leicester would prefer Villa to agree a deal which becomes permanent in the summer.
The 31-year-old has played just 19 minutes of Premier League football this season, and probably would welcome the opportunity of playing elsewhere on loan.
Villa fans have taken to Twitter to express their reaction, and the majority of them feel that he would be a good addition to the squad.
