The Atletico Madrid loanee opened the scoring with a lashed effort, and he then set-up the second with a brilliant run.
Villa fans now are convinced that Wolves are real promotion rivals, and they have hailed the performance of Jota in the contest.
Whether Wolves will be able to sign Jota on a permanent deal remains to be seen.
Jota is highly regarded at Atletico Madrid, but if he continues to impress then Nuno’s side are sure to want to keep him.
