Aston Villa loanee featured at Old Trafford for Saint Etienne.
Freed from Villa Park, Jordan Veretout has had an impressive season on loan at Saint Etienne.
Last night he continued to demonstrate this by starring for the French side at Old Trafford in the Europa League.
Sporting a dyed blonde haircut, Veretout may have ended up on the losing side on his return to England, but he enhanced his reputation in the process.

The Frenchman led his side with interceptions (5) and made two tackles, going up against world record signing Paul Pogba.
Veretout, 23, did not perform anywhere near his best in the Premier League as Villa were relegated last season, and has clearly benefitted from going out on loan, expressing no desire to stick around in the Championship.
He may have continued to struggle in English football, but last night showed that he is a player who potentially could enhance Aston Villa’s floundering squad.

Veretout has already made 21 league starts for Saint Etienne this season, the same number he managed across the entire campaign for Aston Villa a year ago.
Swapping the Championship to also play in the Europa League has been a smart career move, although after the defeat at Old Trafford last night, this adventure could soon be over barring a dramatic turnaround in the second leg next week.
