Sheffield Wednesday signed Jordan Rhodes ahead of Aston Villa and he scored against Birmingham City last night.
Aston Villa fans have admitted that they were impressed by the performance of Jordan Rhodes for Sheffield Wednesday against Birmingham City last night.
Villa were linked with Rhodes throughout the January transfer window, but they failed to get a deal over the line.
The Scottish international ended up moving to Wednesday, to join up with Carlos Carvalhal’s men.

And Rhodes scored on his home debut for the Owls last night, as they beat Birmingham City 3-0.
Rhodes powered the ball home early on in the match, as Wednesday picked up the three points.
And some Villa fans have expressed their frustrations at missing out on the former Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers man on Twitter.
Instead of moving for Rhodes, Villa moved to sign Scott Hogan from Brentford instead.
Hogan made his Villa debut against Nottingham Forest last weekend, and is likely to start later today, when Steve Bruce’s side take on Ipswich Town.
