It is fair to say that there were some doubts over whether Terry would be able to cope with the demands of the Championship when he moved to Villa from Chelsea.
However, the experienced centre-back is proving that he still has the quality which made him one of the finest centre-backs the Premier League has ever seen.
Villa have now won six of their last seven matches to climb up to fifth in the Championship table, and they appear to be going from strength to strength.
