Many Aston Villa fans on Twitter feel that Tyrone Mings did himself a world of good as England manager Gareth Southgate was in attendance during the 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

There is no doubt that playmaker Jack Grealish is Villa’s main man at the club, with his performances in recent weeks seeing supporters tipping him for a potential national call-up.

Here is a selection of Villa fans reaction to Southgate’s appearance:

At this moment in time, Villa are sitting fifth in the Championship table and could potentially find themselves playing Premier League football next term if they continue in their ways.
