Aston Villa’s new signing Douglas Luiz has finally revived some good news following his move to the newly-promoted side.

Aston Villa supporters cannot believe that Douglas Luiz has finally be handed a work permit as he can now focus on preparing for the new Premier League campaign.
Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte has claimed that Luiz has finally be handed a work permit and he will now start training with his new club.
The 21-year-old made a £15 million switch from Manchester City last month [BBC Sport], but he arrived without a work permit, City had one rejected for his services last summer, so that just proves how difficult the situation has been for the player.
But despite that slight delay, Villa can now focus on integrating Luiz into their squad as they prepare to take on Tottenham this Saturday.
Given how long it has taken the defensive-minded player to obtain a work permit, it is fair to say that the Villa Park faithful cannot believe he has finally been given one.
But now that he has, they are absolutely ecstatic, as he arrived with big expectations on his shoulders because he is set to play in a vital position for the club.

Luiz will deploy that midfield role in front of the defence, as he will compete against the likes of Marvellous Nakamaba and Conor Hourihane for places in the team.
The likes of Henri Lansbury and Birkir Bjarnason can also play in that position, but they have seemingly fallen even further down the pecking order at the newly-promoted side.
Nonetheless, Villa fans are glad to see that their new signing is now finally and properly on board as the game at the weekend might be too soon for him.
Here is a selection of Villa fans reacting to that Luiz update:
